Self Assured was created by fashionista and clothing designer, Kristin Potenti, who realized there are many fashion websites but none that advise women which trends are best for their body type. Working in the retail industry and studying fashion design gave her a particular eye for what works on different figures. During her retail years, the clientele gave her insight into what women were comfortable wearing, which areas of the body they did not want to highlight and how clothing could transform their persona.
